A Culture Of Collaboration, Celebration, And Charity
In 2020, we celebrated our fourth consecutive year on the SC Best Places to Work list. The list, compiled by SC Biz News in partnership with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group, recognizes companies from across the state who employ at least 15 people. This year, because of our growth to over 250 employees, ATI was in the large employer category for the first time. Out of 24 large employer organizations selected to this list, ATI placed within the top 10 – at number 8!
The award is especially meaningful because the process includes extensive feedback through an anonymous survey completed by our team members. This process also takes a look at company policies, practices, benefits, and demographics to determine South Carolina’s best employers.
Some results of the employee survey include team members mentioning their appreciation for the opportunities to communicate directly with the CEO at our monthly Town Hall meetings along with ATI’s commitment to their professional development. As in previous years, the ATI team spoke about the respectful professional environment. The team enjoys the support of their hardworking and approachable teammates who help one another achieve their highest potential.
Team members also mentioned that, even though the company has grown over the past year, ATI retains its family feel through fun activities and celebrations, such as an office BBQ lunch, Halloween costume competition, annual corn hole tournament, chili cook-off, and so much more!
Volunteerism is encouraged at ATI; our employees are offered paid time off to serve hands-on with an organization of their choosing. Team members appreciated ATI’s charitable actions during the pandemic. Funds that would normally be used to purchase food for monthly and bimonthly meetings were donated to local nonprofit organizations which were selected by our team. The team responded to online surveys to select and prioritize the recipient organizations, which have either been heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic or who are actively providing relief to the citizens of South Carolina.
