ATI’s Alastar Will be Used at Bonnaroo Festival

Security Software Will Augment Local Law Enforcement Efforts

Charleston, SC – ATI today announced that its Alastar Software was selected to boost security for the 13th Annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. The event, which will be held in Manchester, Tenn. from June 12-15, will attract over 100,000 people and have 140 bands and comedic acts performing on 14 stages. Alastar will support the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office, State and local Emergency Management and the local Police Departments by integrating dispatch, Tennessee Department of Transportation cameras, on-site live camera feeds and vehicle locating devices. Officers will have the Alastar mobile tracking app on their phones to assist in coordinating responses.

Alastar offers wide-area situational awareness information that dramatically improves response times, increases coordination and allows organizations to more effectively monitor and protect their communities and large events. The software leverages a lightweight, stateless, web-friendly architecture to provide an all-inclusive, real-time situational awareness tool. Alastar makes information available when and where it is needed.

“We are delighted to support the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival and bring our technology to this event,” said SCRA CEO Bill Mahoney. “Alastar offers interoperability and mobility that perfectly complement the safety measures needed at large events like Bonnaroo, and we look forward to a successful event.”
