Ms. Kaitlyn Nigro is the Vice President of Human Resources at Advanced Technology International (ATI). In this role, she executes the human resources strategy in support of ATI’s overall business plan and strategic direction. She provides oversight and guidance to the Human Resources Department by supervising several higher-level Human Resources (HR) supervisors, ensuring that requirements are completed, mitigating risks to ATI, and supporting the needs of its employees. Kaitlyn maintains an active SHRM-SCP credential.

Previously, Kaitlyn served as a Director in ATI’s HR Department. In that role, she provided HR guidance in collaboration with the HR team to support the executive team, managers, and staff. She worked closely with all divisions and departments to support successful HR practices, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, benefits, performance management, compensation, compliance, and employee relations.

Before rejoining ATI in January 2025, Kaitlyn served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Meeting Street Schools for almost eight years. She managed cross-functional teams across five school campuses and supported leadership and staff in all areas of HR.

Earlier in her career, Kaitlyn worked on the HR teams at SCRA and ATI from January 2015 to March 2017. She worked on key administrative tasks and grew into a Talent Acquisition Specialist, before joining Meeting Street Schools. Prior to her time with SCRA and ATI, she served as the Benefits Coordinator for Hawkes Learning Systems from 2012 to 2015, where she built the company’s HR department from the ground up.

Kaitlyn attended Appalachian State University, where she earned a Master of Arts in Industrial Organizational Psychology and Human Resource Management in 2012. Before graduate school, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Management from the University of North Carolina at Asheville in 2010, while competing as a four-year Division I volleyball player.
