Jon Osborn

Vice President, Manufacturing & Information Management Division

Mr. Osborn is Vice President of the Manufacturing and Information Management (MIM) Division at ATI, where he oversees six key programs. He manages a robust portfolio of consortia, including the Defense Industrial Base Consortium (DIBC), Maritime Sustainment Technology and Innovation Consortium (MSTIC), Metals Affordability Initiative (MAI III), American Metalcasting Consortium (AMC), Forging Defense Manufacturing Consortium (FDMC), and America’s Datahub Consortium (ADC). Collectively, these consortia represent more than 2,000 industry and academic members actively engaged in the development of advanced technologies in support of the nation’s defense industrial base.

Mr. Osborn has more than 20 years of experience at ATI, having served across three separate divisions. Prior to joining the MIM Division, he worked within the Medical and Threat Countermeasures Division, where he led ATI’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) portfolio. Earlier in his career, he led the Composite Manufacturing Technology Center within ATI’s Naval Technologies Division.

Throughout his career, Mr. Osborn has led programs executed under a wide range of contracting and agreement vehicles, including Cooperative Agreements (CA), IDIQs, Time and Materials (T&M), Cost-Type and Fixed-Type Administrative Rates, Firm-Fixed-Price, and hybrid contract models, operating within both Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Other Transaction (OT) environments. This breadth of experience provides him with a diverse background in federal research and development (R&D) and prototyping efforts.

Mr. Osborn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University. He also earned a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Mechanical Sciences from Clemson University.
