Editor’s Note: Read Part 1 – Choosing the Right OTA Collaborations for Your Company here.

So you found the OTA-based collaboration you want to join, now what?

Once you’ve identified the collaboration(s) that best fit your company’s technology capabilities and expertise, check out the program’s website for instructions on how to join that consortium. Each of the ATI-managed programs have their own website with a page titled “How to Join.”

It’s easy to join, and we’re here to help. Give us a call (843-760-4500) or email us with any questions you may have about the process.

Every program is unique because they each have different government customers, which means that each OTA collaboration will have different applications, fees, and requirements. Membership dues are minimal and cover a number of member benefits, including collaboration and networking events, training, and members-only resources. The “How to Join” pages walk you through the Membership Application Form, Consortium Membership Agreement, and any other necessary documentation needed to join (like a DD2345). An application with all necessary documentation and certificates can be processed in about a week. You’ll receive an email that will contain a welcoming message and instructions on how to set up your account on the members-only website. This is where the real fun begins—networking, General Membership Meetings, teaming opportunities, etc.

What else can you do to learn about OTA collaborations?

OTAs don’t have to be confusing or overwhelming, and you certainly don’t have to navigate them alone. You can always reach out to us with any questions that pop up along your OTA journey. There are multiple ways to get in contact with us:

  • Visit a conference that ATI is attending. We attend many conferences each year to educate on our programs, as well as OTAs in general. We are there to answer all of your questions. We’ll even provide recommendations on which consortia best fits your company’s area of expertise.
  • Attend an ATI OTA 101 Webinar. ATI offers “OTA 101” webinars, which provide an overview of ATI’s collaborations and how OTAs work. Click here to view a list of upcoming dates and to register.
  • Reach out to [email protected]. A human (yes, a real person!) monitors this inbox. If we can’t immediately answer your question, we’ll put you in touch with someone on a program team who can.
