The Maritime Sustainment Technology and Innovation Consortium (MSTIC) launched in June 2021 with more than 120 signed member organizations. Today, MSTIC has more than doubled its membership since the award, serving the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) with over 285 active members made up of traditional and nontraditional federal contractors, small and large businesses, for-profit and nonprofit entities, and academia.

MSTIC provides innovative technological solutions to address security threats in surface, subsurface, air, ground, littoral and expeditionary environments. Recently, MSTIC awarded its first prototype project and is currently processing awards for ten additional projects representing about $6.9M in project award funds. MSTIC members are invited to attend the MSTIC General Membership Meeting July 25-27, 2022. This event will include overviews of NAVSEA, NSWCPD, and MSTIC, as well as requirement briefs, training, one-on-one opportunities, and networking socials.

MSTIC continues to grow and enable rapid research, access to innovative commercial solutions for defense requirements, and innovations from industry, academia and non-traditionals to enhance the Navy’s mission effectiveness.
