The Navy Surface Technology and Innovation Consortium (NSTIC) supports the Navy and the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division by providing access to innovative technologies that address current and future threats in the surface and maritime environment. In two years, NSTIC has accelerated the collaborative development of innovative technologies needed by America’s naval surface forces. Recently, NSTIC awarded a project for a Containerized Littoral Launch System, which provides surface-to-surface missile capability to littoral combat ships. This launcher technology supports the Navy’s efforts to help increase survivability and lethality of its ships, and help protect and defend against enemy warships. In FY22 NSTIC will continue to bridge the gap between government and industry through collaboration to improve naval capabilities and deliver innovative technological solutions to address security threats in the surface and maritime environment.

The Naval Surface Technology & Innovation Consortium (NSTIC)supports naval surface technology innovation through a consortium that researches, develops, tests, and integrates complex naval warfare systems across a broad range of technology areas and disciplines.

NSTIC offers federally-funded research and business opportunities for large and small companies and academia, especially small and emerging companies that have not traditionally worked with the government in the past. Solicitations encompass a wide range of programs and technology areas
