The very first award made through the Maritime Sustainment Technology Innovation Consortium (MSTIC) Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) with the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) has completed final testing with successful results.
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division-created Maritime Sustainment Technology Innovation Consortium (MSTIC) recently reached its 300th member milestone as Systel, Inc. based in Sugar Land, Texas was recently added to the membership.
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division participated in the Maritime Sustainment Technology and Innovation Consortium General Membership Meeting at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown on July 25-27, 2022.
The Maritime Sustainment Technology and Innovation Consortium (MSTIC) launched in June 2021 with more than 120 signed member organizations. Today, MSTIC has more than doubled its membership since the award, serving the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) with over 285 active members made up of traditional and nontraditional federal contractors, small and large businesses, for-profit and nonprofit entities, and academia.
When the Maritime Sustainment Technology and Innovation Consortium (MSTIC) award was announced in June 2021, the collaboration already had a head start atypical of other new consortia.
MSTIC is a collaboration executed under an Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) with the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) to develop and mature technologies that enhance the Navy’s mission effectiveness.
On 04 June 2021, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) awarded its first Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) to Advanced Technology International (ATI), Summerville, S.C., for the establishment and management of the Maritime Sustainment Technology Innovation Consortium (MSTIC).
